Founded in 1961, the Augusta Symphony League is a support group to the Symphony that raises awareness and educates members regarding the mission and activities of the Symphony. The League offers support to the Symphony in the form of financial contributions  raised through League membership dues, is committed to the continued growth and development of the Symphony, and members have a lot of fun along the way.

League dues for the 2019-20 Season are:
$325 – Individual
$475 – Couple

2019-20 Socials:

Opening Social is Tuesday, September 24, 2019 with our Symphony’s own Mr. Justin Resley, Cellist and Perfusionist, presenting “Similarities between Medicine & Music.”

Tuesday, November 5, 2019, Music Director Dirk Meyer will introduce Gustav Holst’s masterwork, “The Planets,” and explain how astrology and mythology influenced the music.

Thursday, February 20, 2020, Mr. Jim Hoover, Executive Vice Presicent, Steinway & Sons, will present “The History of Steinway and its Contribution to the World of Music” at the Miller Theater.

POSTPONED: Tuesday, March 24, 2020, Executive Director Anne Catherine Murray will discuss “The Healing Power of Music” and share the powerful first season’s results of Community Chords Music Therapy at the Knox Music Institute.

The CODA Party this season promises to be outstanding, but we must keep the particulars under wraps for a while longer.
