Discovery Concerts

The Symphony’s Discovery Concerts annually provide over 2,500 elementary, middle, and high school students, including homeschoolers, with opportunities to experience a free live symphonic performance. Past Discovery Concerts include a Cirque de la Symphonie performance and Symphony of Illusions featuring master illusionist Michael Grandinetti.

The 2019-20 Discovery Concert will be Friday, November 8, 2019 at the Miller Theater. The Symphony will perform excerpts of Gustav Holst’s The Planets with projections of NASA video and images of the solar system accompanying the music.
