Discovery Concert

The Symphony’s Discovery Concert annually provides over 1,000 elementary, middle, and high school students, including homeschoolers, with opportunities to experience a free live symphonic performance. Past Discovery Concerts include a Cirque de la Symphonie performance, Symphony of Illusions featuring master illusionist Michael Grandinetti, and Holst’s The Planets with NASA video and images synced to the music.

The 2021-22 Discovery Concert will take place on Friday, February 11 at 10:00 am. This concert, titled “Explore,” will take us on a musical journey around the world. Guitarist JIJI will join the Symphony for the Joaquin Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez and the Symphony will perform Dvorak’s Symphony No. 7 with Westwater Arts “Czech Journeys” visual concert showing pictures of the Czech Republic.
