Discovery Concert

The Symphony’s Discovery Concert annually provides over 1,000 elementary, middle, and high school students, including homeschoolers, with opportunities to experience a free live symphonic performance. Past Discovery Concerts include a Cirque de la Symphonie performance and Symphony of Illusions featuring master illusionist Michael Grandinetti.

The 2019-20 Discovery Concert took place Friday, November 8, 2019 at the Miller Theater. The Symphony performed excerpts of Gustav Holst’s The Planets with projections of NASA video and images of the solar system accompanying the music. Reservations for smaller groups (10 people or less) can be made online. For more information or to register groups of more than 10, contact Don Edmunds at 706-826-4706 or [email protected]
