Symphony Series

Subscribers who have already purchased tickets to this series can look forward to a menu of options by which to experience the first two concerts in October. Maestro Meyer has reimagined these concerts to accommodate smaller orchestras and shorter, intermission-free programs including a reduced Mahler 4, Barber’s Adagio for Strings, Mozart’s Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, and Jessye Norman-mentored soloist Laquita Mitchell.

Based on a limited number of patrons allowed in the Miller Theater at one time, subscribers can opt to attend the afternoon dress rehearsal, the evening concert, or the livestream of each of these concerts. Subscribers – check your email for a link to make your selection. Capacity is first-come, first-served, so please send your request as soon as possible or no later than August 7.

In person Pops! concerts will resume in February of 2021, but the Symphony is thrilled to offer patrons who have already purchased season Pops! tickets access to two Pops! living room concerts to be recorded in October. Those with tickets to E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial Film with Live Orchestra as well as Brass Transit: The Music of Chicago should expect to see those offerings return next season, and can instead to view an Augusta Symphony Movie Music Pops! and Holiday Pops! in their own homes on their own terms.

Family Concerts at Columbia County

While loyal patrons of the Halloween at the Symphony Concert will have to wait until next season for this spooky family favorite, they can still look forward to The Four Seasons concert in May. And subscribers to this series will also have access to view Movie Music Pops! and Holiday Pops! as well.
