Discovery Concert

The Symphony’s Discovery Concert annually provides over 1,000 elementary, middle, and high school students, including homeschoolers, with opportunities to experience a free live symphonic performance. Past Discovery Concerts have included Disney Epcot’s Mariachi Cobre, Symphony of Illusions featuring master illusionist Michael Grandinetti, Holst’s The Planets with NASA video and images, and American’s Wonders, a 3D celebration of our nations parks and cities.

The 2025-2026 Discovery Concert will take place on Thursday, March 19,  2026, at 10:00 am at the historic Miller Theater. This season’s Discovery Concert, A Global Dance Adventure, will highlight the connection between music, dance, and culture. Local dancers will perform alongside the Augusta Symphony to bring the music even more to life, guiding learners on a vibrant journey across continents where every step and sound tells a story.
