Creating the Vision for Quimby Village and Clyde Theatre
Even Keel Event Productions and our community partners have developed a plan to build one of northeast Indiana’s premier Arts & Entertainment destinations. The Clyde Theatre renovation is the driving force behind this major transformation of Quimby Village in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Moving forward with the Quimby Village Project
When the Clyde Theatre is open for business, Fort Wayne will have the largest standing room theatre in the state of Indiana. “This project is a major part of the Downtown Riverfront Development as a destination via riverboat taxi from Downtown Fort Wayne and a part of the highly acclaimed 25 mile Rivergreenway bike path.” said Kinney.
Thanks to all of our friends, family, business partners, local community leaders and the local arts community here in Fort Wayne for supporting this effort!
Established Timeline Continues with Quimby Village and the Clyde Theatre
Its hard to believe that only 4 years ago, EKEP president Rick Kinney first walked through the Clyde Theatre and met face to face with the many pigeons that called the Clyde their home. Today the property is clean, safe, asbestos free, pigeon free, secure, dry, properly lit with construction work lights and primed for the final phase of major construction. The redevelopment of Quimby Village contributes to the exciting renaissance of the south side of Fort Wayne.
