Services to begin during the 2018-2019 Concert Season
FOR THE FOLLOWING VACANCIES (Per-Service Positions):
Associate Principal 2nd Violin
Associate Principal Cello
Approximately 50 services will be scheduled during Augusta Symphony’s 2018-2019 season.
The per-service rates for 2.5 hours will be: Horn 3 – $81, Associate Principal 2nd Violin and Associate Principal Cello – $99. Mileage- ($0.27 per mile). Overnight of $30/night.
A limited number of qualified applicants will be invited to these auditions. If you are interested in auditioning, please send a one-page resume and completed Application Form so that these materials are received in the Augusta Symphony office no later than Monday, August 20. Once your materials are received and you have been accepted, you will be extended (via email) an invitation to audition. All applicants are responsible for obtaining their own copies of required music excerpts.
Once invited to audition, a $50 refundable deposit is required to secure an audition time. Your deposit check, marked with “Audition, September 2018”, must be received in the Augusta Symphony office no later than Monday, September 3 (check made payable to “Augusta Symphony”). The check will be returned on the day of audition or if notice of cancellation is received by Personnel Manager on or before Friday, September 14. Otherwise, your deposit will be forfeited to Augusta Symphony. Specific audition schedule including audition times will be determined on Tuesday, September 4. Contact Pawel Kozak with any questions.
