Discovery Concert

The Symphony’s Discovery Concert annually provides over 1,000 elementary, middle, and high school students, including homeschoolers, with opportunities to experience a free live symphonic performance.

While the Discovery Concerts are traditionally held at the Miller Theater, to maintain a safe experience,  for the 2021 season we created a FREE virtual educational program in lieu of an in-person performance. The 2021  Discovery Concert “Musical Explorer” was digitally available to watch on demand March 15 – April 30, 2021. We welcomed all students, teachers, parents, or anyone looking to go on an adventure with Maestro Dirk Meyer and learn about classic and modern orchestral pieces.
